Antigua and Barbuda is celebrating after Kaid “Rocky” Jarvis and Patricia “Pim” Lewis were crowned Mixed Pair Domino Champions of the World at the prestigious Domino World Tournament.
Representing the country on the international stage, the pair displayed what officials described as exceptional skill, discipline and teamwork as they overcame strong global competition to secure the title.
Jarvis and Lewis are long-standing members of the Bolans Revellers Domino Club, where they have built a reputation for consistency and excellence. Their triumph has been hailed as a proud moment not only for the club and Bolans Village but for the nation as a whole.
Senator Dwayne George, caretaker for St Mary’s South, praised the pair’s success, describing it as a milestone achievement.
“This victory shows that our people are world-class,” he said. “Rocky and Pim have not only made history but have also inspired our youth and our communities to aim higher and believe in themselves.”
The win marks the latest achievement for Antigua and Barbuda in the sporting arena, with local leaders highlighting the role of community clubs such as Bolans Revellers in fostering national talent.
