Police have confirmed that the man found dead in Bendals on Sunday evening is Kerry Oliver, also known as ‘Dolla Man’, of Pigotts.

Oliver had been reported missing since the previous Friday. His body was discovered inside a barrel on a farm in the Bendals area. Investigators said his hands were bound, but the exact circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.

Family members were called in to help identify the body. No motive has yet been established for the killing.

Police had earlier confirmed that Oliver’s white Honda HR-V, registration number A49722, was recovered during the search. The vehicle was found abandoned and unlocked on a by-road in Bathlodge, with the keys left inside.

Oliver is the sixth person to be murdered in Antigua and Barbuda this year.

The authorities are appealing to anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Department on 462-3913 or 462-3914.
