The University of the West Indies (UWI) Five Islands Campus has praised its men’s and women’s volleyball teams for their determination and effort during last weekend’s inter-campus championships against UWI Mona.

Though the Frigates fell short of clinching the title, campus officials hailed the players’ commitment throughout their rigorous training and matches, noting their performance as a source of pride for the Antigua-based institution.

The campus extended special thanks to Oshane Grant, head of the organising committee, along with Amarny Anthony and the Facilities Team, for their role in hosting the event. Appreciation was also expressed to the Antigua and Barbuda Volleyball Association and local clubs for their partnership in making the championship a success.

Supporters were not forgotten, with the campus acknowledging the fans who turned out in force to cheer on the teams.
