The US Embassy to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean has announced its 2025 Youth Ambassadors, selecting four students and one mentor from five countries across the region.

The ambassadors include 16-year-old Uchenna Ohaegbulam from Antigua and Barbuda, who focuses on combating gang violence; 17-year-old Kehzion Hepburn-Murray of Barbados, an advocate for mental health; Zyon Harding, 17, from St Kitts and Nevis, active in media and environmental projects; and 16-year-old Christel Sutherland from St Vincent and the Grenadines, involved in science and the arts.

Mentor Sari Rolle, a senior teacher from Dominica, will guide the group.

Sponsored by the US Department of State and run by Georgetown University, the two-week exchange programme aims to develop leadership and community service skills. The group will soon travel to the US for the programme.
