Antigua and Barbuda has confirmed a three-member team to compete at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion, Paraguay, from 9–23 August.
The delegation will feature sprinters La’Nika Locker in the 100m, Ajani Daley in the 100m, and Geolyna Dowdye in both the 100m and 200m. Athletics events will take place from 18–22 August.
The competition carries high stakes, with gold medal winners earning automatic qualification for the Lima 2027 Pan American Games — an opportunity that makes the event one of the most significant on the continental calendar.
Athletics will be managed by Teddy Daley, with Chef de Mission Karen Joseph leading the overall delegation, assisted by Antigua and Barbuda National Olympic Committee Office Supervisor Eric Henry.
The team is expected to depart later this week.
