    The Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross Society has warned residents to remain vigilant as Hurricane Erin, the first hurricane of the 2025 Atlantic season, moves through the region.

    Heavy rainfall is expected across the Leeward Islands, with a Tropical Storm Watch now in effect for Barbuda. Authorities are urging residents to take precautions and stay updated on official weather advisories.
