The Hopeful Hearts Foundation Youth Group is calling on the community for support as its young leaders launch a youth-led Back to School Donation Drive aimed at assisting students and families in need ahead of the upcoming school year.
The initiative was created and planned by members of the Hopeful Hearts Foundation Youth Group, who wanted to develop a meaningful way to give back and support their peers within the community. Through this project, the youth members are taking an active role in identifying needs, organizing outreach efforts, and creating positive change.
The Youth Group is requesting donations of essential school supplies, including backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other educational materials, to help students begin the school year feeling prepared and confident.
“This initiative represents the heart of youth leadership, young people recognizing a need in their community and taking action to make a difference,” said the Hopeful Hearts Foundation. “By supporting this drive, the community has an opportunity to encourage and empower the next generation of leaders.”
Individuals, businesses, and community partners are encouraged to contribute to the initiative by donating school supplies or supporting the Youth Group’s efforts. Every donation will help provide valuable resources to students who may need additional assistance.
Students and families in need of school supplies are invited to attend the Back to School Donation Drive on August 1st, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Wadadli Spaces, Herberts Road, St. John’s, where donated items will be distributed.
The deadline for donations is July 27th, 2026.
The Hopeful Hearts Foundation continues to create opportunities for young people to lead, serve, and make an impact in their communities. This youth-led initiative demonstrates the power of young leaders working together to create meaningful solutions and inspire others to give back.
