Gibraltar’s Deputy Chief Minister Joseph Garcia will travel to Antigua and Barbuda to participate in events surrounding the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, scheduled for November 1–4.

Garcia will represent the Chief Minister at two roundtable sessions and appear as a panellist during a plenary session alongside political leaders.

The Gibraltar government said the discussions cover areas where the territory has experience to share and can make a positive contribution.

Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory on the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, bordering Spain at the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea. It engages with Commonwealth members and organisations both directly and through the United Kingdom’s membership.

Jared Peralta will also represent Gibraltar at the Commonwealth Business Forum, while Haylee Pincho and Aditya Dhanwani will attend the Commonwealth Youth Forum.
