    LIAT cancels some flights due to Hurricane Erin

    Following our previous weather advisory regarding Tropical Storm Erin, we must inform you that all flights to the following destinations have been cancelled for the specified dates:

    Cancelled Destinations: British Virgin Islands (ElS) & Saint Maarten (SXM)

    Cancelled Dates: Friday, August 15, 2025 Saturday, August 16, 2025

    These cancellations are due to severe weather conditions and inclement weather brought about by Tropical Storm Erin, which pose safety risks for aircraft operations and passenger safety.

    If you are booked on any ElS or SXM flights during this period: Contact our Reservations Center immediately at +1 (268) 713-5428 or email us at reservations@flyliatair.com. We will assist with rebooking at no additional cost once conditions improve.

    Full refund if you choose not to travel, Rebooking to the earliest available flight after August 17th and travel credit valid for 12 months.

    We sincerely apologise for this significant disruption to your travel plans. The safety of our passengers and crew is our absolute priority, and we will not compromise on safety regardless of operational impact.

    We are monitoring weather conditions closely and will resume EIS and SXM operations
