    Young Antiguan & Barbudan Women Shine at LEAP 2025

    Four outstanding young women proudly represented Antigua and Barbuda at the Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Action Programme (LEAP) in Jersey, Channel Islands, accompanied by Dr. E. Jonah Greene, Deputy Director of Education, who served as a mentor.

    Our Delegates:

    Alleah Alfred – St. Anthony’s Secondary School

    Gabrielle Tuckett – Antigua Girls’ High School

    Janica Adams – recent AGHS graduate

    Miya Joseph – recent ASC graduate

    Highlights:

    🔹 Miya Joseph’s team won the pitch competition with The Money Mindset – a financial literacy website for kids, securing investor interest & €500 funding.

    🔹 Alleah Alfred wowed with SeaStudy, a marine education game.

    🔹 Janica Adams gained new insight on sustainability & leadership.

    🔹 Gabrielle Tuckett embraced confidence in global spaces.

    Minister Matthew noted that the programme reflects the power of global partnerships and commended the team for representing Antigua & Barbuda with distinction.
