Antigua, May 25, 2025 – In celebration of Dominican Mother’s Day, the Consulate General of the Dominican Republic in Antigua and Barbuda held a heartfelt gathering that brought together dozens of Dominican women residing in the Caribbean nation.
The event was led by the Honorable Consul General, Mr. Joaquín Díaz López, who expressed his deep appreciation for the dedication, strength, and vital role of Dominican mothers—both within the homeland and throughout the diaspora.
The gathering took place at Pescari restaurant in the Royalton CHIC Antigua hotel, creating a warm and festive ambiance filled with unity and patriotic pride. Attendees, elegantly dressed in spring colors and cocktail attire, enjoyed an evening of affection, music, raffles, and moving tributes to motherhood.
