Peetron’s Work Fu Um Summer Camp has officially launched a month-long Toiletry Drive as part of its ongoing commitment to community service and youth development. The initiative, which began today and will continue through the end of August, aims to collect essential hygiene items for distribution to individuals and families in need across the community.

According to Camp Director Peetron Thomas, the project is about more than just collecting supplies — it is an opportunity to teach the young participants the values of service, compassion, and social responsibility.

“My passion for humanitarian work is something I want to pass on to the next generation,” Thomas stated. “Through this project, our campers are learning the importance of community service, empathy, and the impact of helping others.”

The summer camp, known for blending recreational activities with life lessons, will involve its campers in every stage of the drive, from collection to distribution. Items being requested include soap, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, and sanitary products.

Organizers are inviting the general public to participate by donating toiletries in support of the cause. Donations may be dropped off at SunCity Restaurant & Bar, located at Anchorage Inn, or by contacting Camp Director Peetron Thomas at (268) 775-1595 for more information.

This initiative reinforces Work Fu Um Summer Camp’s mission to nurture socially aware and community-minded youth, ensuring they understand that helping others is an essential part of building a stronger society.
