Senator Michael Joseph has praised the ongoing development of the Renal Centre, describing it as a “testament to visionary leadership” within Antigua and Barbuda’s healthcare sector.
The facility, spearheaded by Health Minister Sir Molwyn Joseph, is designed to expand the country’s capacity to provide specialised kidney care. Once completed, it is expected to offer state-of-the-art services not only to local residents but also to patients from across the region.
“This is about delivering world-class healthcare right here in Antigua,” Senator Joseph said, noting his pride in the project’s progress and its potential to improve treatment options for future generations.
The Renal Centre forms part of wider efforts by the Ministry of Health to strengthen specialist medical services and reduce the need for patients to seek treatment abroad.
